A Dash of Uplift

This weekend, I was grateful to participate in the annual Author Fair for the second time at the Bucks County Free Library in Doylestown, Pa., featuring 90 local authors.

I enjoyed trading creative writing stories and meeting many inspiring authors, including a man who told me about surviving the Blitz in London as a toddler in 1940, then coping with being sent to the English countryside for safety during WW2 without his family, and later coming to America when he was 21 for the promise of a better life.

Hoping we can witness and experience more uplifting moments in these turbulent times.
